For our second installment of this year's Meet The Crew series, we are focusing on our First Mates. While our Captains’ primary roles are maintaining our vessels, keeping them fueled up, and finding fish for our customers to catch, our Mates have equally important roles to fill. On January 6th, 2021 Main One had a full-day trip scheduled with one of our long-time customers, Mr. Cookie Rice. He brought along his daughter, Sally, son-in-law James, and a few neighbors to enjoy a beautiful day out on the water. Finally, 2020 has come to an end and we are thrilled! We just finished two very busy weeks here in the Florida Keys including Christmas week; the busiest week of the year. To be proactive before the nonstop week of fishing, we installed two brand new motors on one of our most popular vessels, the Main Attraction. December is off to a great start in the Florida Keys. There has been a wide variety of species caught amongst our vessels, such as Yellowtail Snapper, Black Grouper, Cobia, Mackerel, Kingfish, Sailfish, Yellow Jacks, Wahoo, and various large Sharks. It has been extremely windy, the last few weeks here in the Florida Keys. We have been shuffling trips to get charters out on the water, and preparing boats for tropical storms in NOVEMBER!
